Re: Group Calendar

Hi Martha,

We used to use public folder in Exchange. However, they can be cumbersome.
Another system we used for a while was Meeting Manager. We then moved to
wikis on Moodle which did the trick until we switched to Google Apps. Now,
without discussion, almost everyone that manages a calendar here has moved
their shared calendar resources over to Google.

We provide accounts for our faculty, students, families and alums. Thus,
when we moved from Exchange to Google, we moved 1800 accounts over. That
can be quite a challenge with any system. However, one of my most
technologically challenged parents just told me how she has "mastered" the
Google "stuff." We moved over just 4 months ago. When we got her an
Exchange account, she told me she "got it" three years later! Were making
progress!

Take care,
Alex
