Re: Controversy over the President's Speech to Students

I could not believe what I was hearing on Meet the Press yesterday--going on
in a neighboring school district-- New Canaan, CT --home to (presumably)
rational, reasonable, educated men and women -- and a few Republicans-- and
several independent schools. This is why we must have an educated and
informed public and continue to push for reforms in public education-- top
to bottom !

If you missed it, you can listen to the clip, posted below.

What a travesty!

I started a FB group if
anyone is interested. I specifically tried to make this as non-partisan as
possible and to gear it around finding and sharing resources for teaching
discourse.
