Re: ISED/Internet Safety Speaker

I'll second (third? fourth?) the suggestion to stay in-house. I have
heard a detective speak to students (not at our school) and his focus was
scaring kids about what might happen. From the detective's point of view,
the internet was nothing but a danger and nuisance. The kids (a church
youth group) enjoyed the horror story part of his talk, but I doubt any of
them thought one word applied to them.

Do you have any faculty that are actively involved in social media?
Pairing one of them with your guidance counselor has worked effectively
here.
