Job Posting--Assistant Director at Global Youth Leadership Institute

Please pass along to anyone you know who may be interested.

Global Youth Leadership Institute Seeks a Full-Time Assistant Director
GYLI seeks an Assistant Director to continue to develop and implement
leading-edge student/teacher programs that build transformational
leadership, global awareness and social entrepreneurship in each
participant. GYLI has maintained a vibrant sense of community since its
founding in 2002. As a positive response to the events of 9/11/2001, a
small group of educators gathered in Chicago to envision new ways of
building student and teacher leaders in schools. That vision has grown to a
unique sequence of summer institutes and year round programs that include
students and teachers from 5 continents.

GYLI currently works with over 35 schools in the US, Canada, Europe, India,
China, Costa Rica, and Nigeria. Our schools include every sector: public,
private, religious, boarding, and international. GYLI has recently adopted
a new mission to reflect its growth and development: Global Youth Leadership
Institute delivers transformative educational programs that foster global
pluralism, collaborative leadership, and environmental care, helping
students and teachers become fully engaged citizens of the world. As we
continue to reach more schools and refine our programs, GYLI will be a
platform, laboratory, and gathering point for social change through students
and teachers around the world.
