have been the Technology Coordinator for a few years and they keep trying to
get me to change the title to Director of Technology. The administration
feels like the school needs a director. They do pay me the Director salary,
though I am resistant to the title. They would also like me to work on a 12
month schedule, but if I am to teach as well as coordinate, then I need that
break to feel renewed and refreshed. Do you teach?
IMHO, a Director position is likely considered a step up from a Technology
Integration Specialist. I do not know if the school would consider that a
pay cut...would you still be doing all of your bulleted lists? If you're
still doing the same job, but just not working in the summer and adding more
integration responsibilities to your plate, then I don't see how a pay cut
is warranted.

Subject: Thoughts on Job Switch?
> Hello Colleagues,
> I am wondering if any of you have wrestled with the possibility of
