We used to send these out from our own accounts but had so many replies, =
on or off topic, that we switched. I created some generic accounts and =
we send the messages from those accounts. They have auto-replies that =
nicely say these are not monitored email accounts and if you have any =
questions contact the appropriate person at school. It also allows us to =
create email addresses to reflect the message "Parent Notice" "Daily =
Announcements", etc.

With 2400 kids, it also cuts down on the "mailbox is full" "I'm out of =
town" etc. that I was getting with every message!

Subject: Blast Emails
I know this topic came up earlier, but I am curious to know. Do you=20
have a separate account for blast emails? or is it sent out of an=20
administrators account? What do you do with the replies?
Currently, I send out the emails and I get several replies (beyond the=20
out of office) with questions I do not know answers too.
Any insight would be wonderful.
