We use Meru Networks MC3000 controllers with indoor AP208, outdoor
OAP180 and a meeting hall radio switch which can handle over two hundred
users per switch.
We average over 700 concurrent users using 75 access points and two
traffic controllers. All the access points receive power via POE from
our HP Procurve switches.
We tested Aruba, Cisco and Meru when looking for a new wireless
backbone. Meru was the only solution that worked in our environment
since they use virtual cell technology and all access points operate on
the same channel which eliminates co-channel interference.
