Kitchen POS (Point of Sale) Systems with fingertip readers?

We are very small and independent school with a la carte kitchen menu. I'm
searching for a POS system that works with fingertip scanners. I would also
like parents to see itemized list of items purchased for each meal. POS
should be relatively easy for the kitchen staff to use. SIF agent is a plus.
Any suggestions? What do you use?
