For my personal hosting, I use hostgator.com. Our school uses
cfdynamics.com without any problems for our main website. We host all of
our intranet websites on our own servers. It is easier to make additions
and changes.
So when I wanted to host Moodle, faculty websites, sharepoint, or our
attendance module, it was up relatively quickly.
Maybe you have both? You can have an external host for your main website,
and internal host for your intranet type sites.
