Re: video game creation...

I use GameMaker with my high schoolers and it works just fine. I used it
on some fourth grade boys as a test and they quickly lost interest on the
first tutorial as I was walking them through it. I think it would be ideal
if I started with a game that had a faster payoff then Catch the Clown
(which is the first tutorial of their free downloadable tutorials). So, I
think my problem was more a matter of a failure on the part of the
instructor rather than a failure on the part of the tool.
