We recently acquired a new MacBook lab that we are currently in the process of imaging / preparing to be made available to faculty to use with classes. Our previous mobile lab (an old iBook lab) is still usable, but in pretty rough shape, largely due to misuse / abuse by students. As part of the new rollout, we are looking to better prepare teachers to use the lab effectively (as well as avoid a repeat of the previous lab's trashing) by having a series of workshops to go over use & care of the lab along with some best practices.
To that end, I would like to know what policies / procedures are in place at your school for check in / check out and use of mobile labs by teachers? Anything you could forward to me would be MUCH appreciated.
