Re: Server room temperature

We keep ours at 73 degrees which translates to around 75 at the servers.
At 90 I have sensors that email me that there is a problem with the AC.
We picked 73 because there are conduits that come in to that room from
an unair-conditioned space, and anything much lower than that caused
condensation in the conduit which then would leak on the servers. =20

Subject: Server room temperature

I've been requested to find out information about the temperature in
server rooms and the temp in the racks themselves. I'm hoping to get a
quick poll.=20

1) What temperature do you set in your server room?

2) At what temperature do you get concerned about being too hot?

3) What temperature would you like to have in your racks?

4) At what temperature do you get concerned about being too hot?

Thank you,
