OK fellow boomers, now that I've scared the youngsters away let me remind
you of a few things. We boomers stopped the Vietnam war, we supported the
Civil Rights movement, we participated in the fight for Women's Rights, we
bought the first transistor radios, and, let's not forget, we discovered
Rock 'n Roll. We may not be the greatest generation, but you know, we've
had our share of adventures.
So, if you've made it this far, watch the video (a delightful Bill Moyers
interview of Sara Lawrence-Lightfoot) and when you're done take a look at
the questions below.
http://www.pbs.org/moyers/journal/05082009/watch2.html
-Are you feeling just an itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny bit bored with the ol'
routine?
-Looking for a challenge that will push you out of your comfort zone?
-Want to help define and develop a new paradigm of education for the 21st
century?
If you answered yes to one or more of these questions then consider
clicking on over to http://iscoop.ning.com and lending a hand. We could
use your wisdom, your experience and your humor.
Thanks,
Fred
