Re: XP, Vista and Windows 7

Regarding imaging, you will need to look at the changes to SysPrep for
imaging the machines. My organizationis working on this using
Clonezilla and I am happy to pass along any tips and tricks.

Regarding the KMS server, you can request MAK keys through
Micrososft's e-Open site to get around the re-authorization every 180
days.

But keep in mind that KMS licensing might not be a bad idea in some
environments. Say you have a small lab that you only need at various
times. Rather than using up all your MAK keys, you can use KMS. When
those machines expire, you get the licenses back for other uses.
Better than having to call licensing support when you need to reclaim
licenses.
