We were waiting to go from XP to 7 but really had to get some new PCs for a
couple of locations so we went with Vista recently on the new ones. They
will go to 7 later on, but all is not horrible with Vista now and add
SteadyState, and they have been fine. If you are imaging anyway and will
blow the images away in the future, I would just go straight to 7 when the
time to move makes sense. Again, I was trying to eek out some more time, but
the deals were pretty good and they came with upgrades to 7 when we want to
move to it.
