00T was just released, and while reviews are positive, it's still a new pro=
duct on a new chip platform (Centrino 2).
Also, in my testing of an X41T (Pentium M 1.4Ghz, 1.5GB RAM, 4200rpm HD), V=
ista is significantly faster than XP Tablet Edition, or at least it feels t=
hat way (I haven't run any synthetic benchmarks). From what I understand, =
the Tablet PC functionality is more integrated in to the Vista kernel, wher=
eas with XP the Tablet PC functions are user-space daemon's that consume mo=
re system resources. If you're not already on Vista, I'd at least consider=
it for tablets.
