Subject: placement for Second Language classes
Does anyone know if there is direct correlation between outstanding scores
on standardized testing in "English" areas, i.e. listening skills, reading
comprehension, or grammar, and giftedness or exceptional talent in second
languages? I'm trying to find a way to identify students who need
acceleration in second languages during the application process. This is
especially difficult with summer applications when teachers may not be in
town.
Thanks for any help with this.
