** seeking: computer teacher or classroom teacher of eighth graders who is
interested in a meaningful Web 2.0 relationship between your students and
mine
** must be: willing to use a variety of Web 2.0 tools (blogs, wikis, SKYPE)
** no preferences re: location in USA or on planet Earth
** must be: proactive in creating this school to school relationship from
after Thanksgiving thru Spring 2009
please reply OFF the LISTSERV if interested ... my 16 students here in
Harlem have blogs at
http://www.thechildrensstorefront.org/students/cp8.html ... we at
Storefront have had extremely successful school to school exchanges with
Stoneleigh Burnham School in Massachusetts, Khartoum American School in
Sudan and Cal State at Chico ... so the bar is high ... it does not
matter if you have fewer or more than 16 eighth graders
let me know if interested and we can then talk on the phone or SKYPE ...
Steve
p.s. we are still taking donations of old (but working) computers, laptops
mice, keyboards and ethernet cables for our Tech Saturdays in Harlem
program which is described at http://www.techsaturdays.org ... thanks much
to all the ISED members who have donated
