Re: ipads Lower School

I became a strong supporter of cursive writing as an option for kids when a
learning specialist pointed out to me that the continuous action of cursive
writing, as opposed to the stop-and-start repositioning required for
printing, actually was helpful to students with fine motor difficulties.

On a similar note, back to the iPad -- has anyone tried "Shapewriter" or the
"Swype" technology? I am entranced by it -- faster than tapping, and
kinesthetically very pleasant. I would love to see it integrated into more
apps.
