Re: imaging options

We moved from Altiris to KACE last year after several years of frustration =
with Altiris Notificaton Server and very bad experiences after the Symantec=
buyout. Of course, now KACE has been bought by Dell, but hopefully that w=
ill go better. We use the KBOX 1000 for deploying software, patches, helpd=
esk, inventory, security auditing, scripting, etc, for our substantial PC b=
ase (330+) and our tiny Mac base (11). We use the KBOX 2000 for deploying =
images of the above. I love the KBOX 1000 and think it's a top-notch produc=
t - incredibly easy to use, full of potential, responsive developers. The =
KBOX 2000 still needs some work before it can begin to touch Altiris Deploy=
ment Solution's power and flexibility, however it automates a lot of what I=
used to do by hand in Altiris which is good for inexperienced shops. Regar=
dless, I don't regret the decision to switch and have been happy with the c=
ombined products as a whole.

options ?
