I have a free e-mail list for parents of high school students with learning
disabilities. I send out 2 -3 high quality e-mails a week regarding
postsecondary transition, as the college success rate of this cohort is
extremely low. I also offer a few informational products (a course, e-book,
DVD) for which I charge. That's when I start to get complaints - too much
e-mail!
I don't get it ... as the parent of a son with LD/ADD who completed college
successfully and is now 28, I wanted *anything and everything *I could get
my hands on when the time for college rolled around. There was no such
thing as TOO much.
Anyone interested in learning something needs to sift through what they
receive and delete what's not pertinent. Is that so difficult?
I simply don't understand the mindset of these people!
