Grab the Torch <http://www.grabthetorch.org/> is dedicated to teaching
the art of philanthropy to the next generation. Philanthropy is a
long-standing American ideal rooted in history and tradition whose
future will be determined by the passion of our young people. Students
learn "how it's done and why we're doing it" at a five-day overnight
camp at Pomfret School, Pomfret, CT, from July 5-10 developed to provide
an in-depth look at the world of non-profits. The program will launch a
global network linking students from around the world using its
partnership with Global Nomads Group. Students will be required to
partner for the next two to three years while at school. They will
implement initiatives and share their journeys. Full scholarships are
available for this opportunity. Check out details on the Grab the Torch
