Since I have read and discussed *Disrupting Class* and discussed it, I will
share my personal experience.
In June, I began teaching in the Gifted Learning Links program run by
Northwestern University. They offer a wide variety of online courses,
including the AP Computer Science that I am currently teaching.
The cost per student is reasonable, around $800 for this two semester
course. Students can begin the course (with credit) during any month of the
year. No need to wait to take it.
This provides one such option.
