Global Youth Leadership Institute (GYLI) is offering a collaborative
leadership and diversity workshop for educators. This 1-day workshop =
will
take place on October 31 in Baltimore, MD.
Participants will sail the Schooner Denis Sullivan out of the Inner =
Harbor
as they explore lessons of collaborative leadership, diversity, and =
social
responsibility in an effort to become more effective teachers of =
leadership
in their schools and communities.
GYLI is a non-profit organization that runs many successful leadership
programs for high school students and teachers, including the NAIS =
Institute
for Student Leaders. GYLI has developed this workshop in partnership =
with
the Denis Sullivan, an educational vessel that is the state flagship of
Wisconsin. Any educator K-12 will find practical activities, connections =
and
inspiration for their work during this unique 1-day event.
$400 per participant includes all workshop costs and lunch
