We use a service call Blackboard Connect. Used to be ConnectEd and then
Blackboard purchased them in Jan 2008. Working great so far - have used =
the
emergency, attendance and community outreach features.

Other than Parent Reach and Alert Now are there other Emergency
Notification Systems schools are using? Do schools use any of the
other services of them (like mass non-emergency emails)? Also, any
systems that have not worked, and why would be helpful too.
We are a Blackbaud school, so hopefully the system we get would work
well with Blackbaud without having to constantly do exports and imports
of data every time we have a change.

We just switched from School Reach to Parent Reach because it was
integrated into our RenWeb SIS. WOW!!!! That was wonderful! My
principal is ecstatic with it. However, that's because we used to have
to manually import. The integrated solution is super cool.
I realize lots of you already had that. It was really pleasant joining
the rest of you in the 21st Century! :-)
