Re: BlackBOARD and access to classes by supervisors

Individual teachers may enroll other teachers, department heads, and
administrators in their courses using one of the available roles
(teaching assistant, course builder, etc.). If you are creating courses
using an automated system, the process could occur automatically. If you
have additional questions, feel free to email me off list.

Subject: BlackBOARD and access to classes by supervisors

This question is for all of you Blackboard users out there.

We just started using Blackboard today and had a "lively" discussion of
it's pros and cons. =20

One huge area of concern was the inability of department heads and
supervisors to access the homework assignments of their department
members. As one particularly vocal person put it, in our previous
version of homework on the web, he could access each member of his
department with a single click. Apparently he is not able to do so in
Blackboard.

I have a feeling we are just missing something here. So, if you have a
solution to our problem I would appreciate hearing about it. I am not
an administrator on Blackboard, by the way, so don't presume I know
anything.

Thanks in advance,
