See my answers below- we are just starting to use moodle more but =20
here is our stand on copyright.

We have the rule that if it has a =A9 anywhere on the page, you cannot =20=

use the pictures. You may use content (text) but you must have a =20
citation. We have a list of websites that provide copyright free =20
images right on our school's technology page, the students are =20
encouraged to use this page.

That rule applies to all web content, students must have a citation.

> What about music?

If a student wants to use music, they have to own the CD or borrow it =20=

from someone else. A burnt CD does not suffice. We do not allow music =20=

to be uploaded into a presentation or moodle, unless it is a self--=20
composition in Garage Band.

Our students are to have a works cited list. We teach this skill when =20=

they start web research projects (about 3rd grade). We have the 3rd/=20
4th graders do a simple works cited list. 5th-8th grade need to start =20=

using the full citations (MLA)- however we give citationmachine.net =20
as a resource. We want them to leave our school knowing and using =20
this skill.
