All of my previous experience has been with the wonderful world of Windows. Can someone help with Apple's workgroup manager? We imaged all of our laptops through an ethernet connection. Therefore the ethernet ID in workgroup manager is the ethernet mac address. In order to manage these laptops in a wireless environment, do I need to move the wireless mac address from Server Administrator to workgroup manager? Can you put the wireless mac address in the ethernet ID box? Has anyone had success with this? Is there any other way to manage Apple laptops in a wireless environment? I am not particularly interested in Remote Desktop, it is too cumbersome and I don' t have the time or inclination to view 188 laptops, i just want to enact some management techniques.
Thank you for any advise.
