High School has done away with quarters altogether and only uses semesters
for report cards.
Comments can appear on the grade detail sheet that parents see and the MS
expects teachers to make a personal comment for each student sometime durin=
g
the quarter. The HS expects one personal comment per semester for each
student, but they also expect teachers to make a personal comment for new
students within four or five weeks of their arrival. (Teachers who teach
larger numbers of students, e.g., PE, have fewer comment requirements.)
