Re: Wireless Options

Renee,

Cannot say enough about Ruckus. We have been running it for a couple of
years now and been very happy. We have mostly 2.4 ghz APs but a few dual
5/2.4 ghz.

We have multiple wlans that map to vlans across campus. We do mac-auth with
radius to Open Directory for one of our wlans in addition to WPA2 and also
have a couple of areas on campus where we need to do some meshing. We have
many of the Aps on POE and have been happy with coverage as well as the
'self-healing' and background scanning the system does to change radio
channels due to interference (which in a San Francisco neighborhood near the
freeway and a busy BART station is a great tool to have.)
