Re: Wireless Options

Renee,

This is our 3rd year with Xirrus. We have been extremely pleased with
them. Xirrus allowed us to evaluate their equipment for a few weeks
before making a decision to purchase. They did the site survey and put
up the arrays. I am pretty sure this is still part of their standard
service. We are upgrading to wireless N at the end of this week and
they will do a new site survey and the installation at no additional
charge.

Management has been very easy and support has been great the couple of
times that I had to call them. There is a full 5 year hardware warranty
on the array that comes as part of the basic purchase.

Subject: Wireless Options

Can you please share which wireless hardware you are using, and if you
are happy with it?

We are expanding our school, and I currently have Cisco but I am looking
at Xirrus and Ruckus. I would love input on these three systems as well
as others that people are using.

How many of you have 5 ghz systems as well as 2.4 ghz. Have you notice
better coverage / speed of access with it? Did you move up to 5 ghz to
support more wireless devices and has it helped?

Thanks,
