Re: digital portfolios

Hello Gail:

We are also interested in this, and planning to get going this winter. I
wish I knew what independent schools were leading the way, but I don't
offhand.

High Tech High<http://www.hightechhigh.org/digital_portfolios.php?school=hth>and
New
Tech Network <http://schools.scusd.edu/sacnewtech/portfolio.htm> are leading
the way (imho) in their sector(s) (the links go to their on-line student
portfolios).

It'd be great to have some collaboration among independent schools working
on this-- why don't you start a group at
ISENET<http://isenet.ning.com/groups?sort=latestActivity>for digital
portfolio schools and we can begin a conversation, post
resources, collect best practices, and support each other?

And certainly, (as soon as we have started the group) we should hope and ask
that those independent schools out there who are leading already will join
that group and share!
