Re: Sibelius Student Licensing

In terms of Sibelius alternatives, have you tried MuseScore?

We are still trialing it in Grade 5 music. The teacher reported some
instances of crashes, but these were isolated and we could not reproduce
them, so not sure if it was a software characteristic or if students were
dealing with a computer that had gone to sleep etc.

It's possible the licensing and key hassles of Sibelius might actually be
more headache than the isolated crashes we noted above. We are in China
and have had to get e-mail up to 5 responses and recipients deep to get
keys sorted out.
