Technology Department. The=20
Technology Coordinator is a cross-divisional position reporting to the
Director of Technology and=20
interacting with the Lower, Middle and Upper schools. A typical week will
include teaching, front-line tech=20
support, technology integration and staff/faculty training.=20

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the
following:=20

=95 Provide end-user technical support to both faculty and students on a
wide variety of technical=20
issues including printing, connecting to the network, and password resets=
.=20
=20
=95 Teach classes in the Lower, Middle and/or Upper Schools as the academ=
ic
schedule demands.=20

=95 Design, coordinate and provide instructional technology in-service
opportunities for students,=20
faculty and staff.=20
=20
=95 Contribute to an environment that encourages creative and independent
use of instructional=20
technology throughout the school.=20
=20
=95 Model effective uses of current and new instructional technology insi=

and outside the=20
classroom for teachers and students.=20

=95 Instruct users in the appropriate uses of technology in an educationa=

Skills and experience:=20

=95 The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator with a Bachelor=ED=

degree with preference=20
given to someone holding a master=EDs degree in educational technology.=20

=95 Help-desk administration/maintenance.=20
=20
=95 A working understanding of computer networks and client/server
architectures.=20

=95 Experience with Macintosh desktop and server platforms (Windows
experience is a plus.)=20

=95 Practical knowledge of mainstream software applications (Photoshop, M=

Office, iWork,=20
Apple=EDs iLife suite, etc.)=20

=95 An interest and knowledge of introductory programming environments su=
ch
as Scratch and/or=20
educational robotics is a distinct plus.=20
