archiving email service (MxLogic now McAfee) which also scans our emails
for virus and SPAM. We are archiving emails for three years and the
policy is the same for both staff and faculty. Users are able to search
and view their archived emails and manage their SPAM with an email
notification from the system. Users control how much they want to keep
in their live mailbox and work within their mailbox limit. We do not
have student email accounts.=20

My school is having discussions regarding document retention and the
retention of emails has come up as a concern. It would be helpful for

know the policies of other schools.
1) If an email is not deleted by a user how long could it potentially

on your system?
2) If you have a policy that automatically deletes emails how long has
