Re: Blackbaud Raiser's Edge/Financial Edge OnDemand

We are looking into the same thing. I called Blackbaud about it and was =
told "no one has ever asked to do that before". I asked for pricing and =
the details of what we would loose and what we would gain. Apparently you =
do loose integration. That was three weeks ago and our account rep has =
not gotten back to me about it yet. =20

Think I'll call her and remind her.

Hi -

We are considering moving to Blackbaud's OnDemand hosting services for
Raiser's Edge and Financial Edge, and we are looking for some feedback
about them. (We currently run these applications from on Windows servers
within our LAN.)

If you have migrated to Blackbaud's OnDemand services, we would appreciate
knowing:

1. What do you like best about the OnDemand services?

2. What are your biggest concerns? Have you been able to overcome
them?=20

3. Are the other pros and cons of these hosting services (from your
end AND the users' points of view) that you'd like to mention?

4. Do you experience unacceptable lag times when running queries,
exports, and reports OR other symptoms that may be related to insufficient
server capacity or Internet bandwidth? Did you detect this slowness during
your testing phase? If you have been able to overcome these problems, how
did you do so?

5. What lessons were learned or comments do you have regarding the
migration process?

6. What justified the increased cost of moving to OnDemand?

Thanks in advance!
Terry
