Have you though of using some of the free and open source alternatives?
Clam A/V and Clamwin - I'm assuming you use Windows -
http://www.clamwin.com/ - are both good anti-virus packages and Winpooch
- http://winpooch.free.fr/page/home.php?lang=en&page=home is a good
anti-spyware / anti-trojan product. All free!
