Caveats: NONE
It is open enrollment season and I was just looking at something similar
for my Flex plan to reduce my tax burden. Most flexible benefits plans
do not appear to allow it (at least not the two I looked at) and
specifically exclude books and school fees, so there does not appear to
be a tax benefit there. Each plan is different and your mileage may
vary.
In terms of direct tax deductions, I believe this only applies to fees
paid to Colleges/University and post-secondary institutions.

So there does not appear to be any way to derive a tax benefit from a
primary school fee. As always, it is prudent to seek the advice of a
professional. I would be very happy to find out I am wrong.

Subject: Tech Fees/Tax Deductions
We were told by a finance person that we should not roll our Technology
Fee into our tuition instead that we should apply it as a separate
charge as it would be tax deductible.
Our technology fees are as follows for every student:
K-4: $75
5-8: $175
Has anyone heard about this, knows what is the correct tax form, etc.? =20
If this is the case I need to get this information out to our parents.
Thanks!
