Re: Website Management Software

We went with Silverpoint three years ago and have been extremely pleased. T=
eachers are able to maintain their own pages. Upkeep isn't too time consumi=
ng for the webmaster (me). Silverpoint interviewed us and surveyed faculty/=
staff before beginning design. They designed the site and currently host it=
on their servers, saving us the headache of backup.

Those of you that are happy with your school webpage software / management,=
can you share?

Our development department wants a website where individuals will have page=
(s) they can easily update themselves, so something VERY easy for the end u=
ser to update is important. Hopefully, it will also not be too time consum=
ing to update for me, or whomever ends up being the webmaster. I would nee=
d help with the initial design, including transferring things from Front Pa=
ge into it.

We accept payments on your website, so I need something that has the abilit=
y to use something like authorize.net to accept the payments.

We use Blackbaud for our database (EE and RE). Is anyone using this system=
for their school website? I hesitate as we have tons of issues with what =
we are already using.

Thanks for any input.
