* With respect to administration and campus-wide operations:*

- Report to the Director of Operations and Finance
- Along with the Network Administrator, maintain and support the servers=
,
networking components, networked printers and other shared computing
resources and infrastructure
- Help assess current and future network and computing needs, and plan
and
- implement upgrades as necessary
- Create and manage faculty, staff and student email addresses and
internal campus mailing lists
- Help create and manage access to calendars
- Troubleshoot telecommunications and computer hardware and software
throughout the campus
- Review, research and recommend technology purchases for the laptop
program, divisions and individuals as needed
- Help maintain the security of the school=92s network infrastructure an=
d
serving environment
- Maintain proper licensing on current and future campus and client
software
- Along with the Network Administrator, remain =93on call=94 after hours=
and
on weekends when required.

With respect to the Help Desk:
- Coordinate the Help Desk for laptop, desktop, network and client
support in the Upper, Middle, Lower, and Preschools, as well as Media
Centers and administrative offices
- Provide technical assistance to teachers using technology in their
classrooms
- Maintain and improve record keeping
- Maintain and improve workflow procedures
- Receive laptops and tech support requests from students and faculty vi=
a
Help Desk, telephone and email
- Diagnose laptop problems, perform simple laptop repairs, and delegate
laptop repairs to Help Desk staff
- Point of contact for students, parents and staff in answering technica=
l
questions
- Point of contact for laptop repair depots and vendors
- Arrange shipping and receiving of laptops to repair depots
- Maintain all appropriate documentation and other required records
regarding laptop maintenance and support
- Maintain loaner pool, refurbished laptop pool, parts inventory and
supplies
- Set up and deploy all campus laptops and desktops
- Recruit and manage Help Desk staff
- Assist in maintaining tech support databases and hardware/software
inventories
- Work with the Instructional Technology Coordinator to evaluate and
implement technology for student and teacher use
- Order tools, equipment and office supplies
- Maintain a professional climate in the Operations and Support Center
- Other Operations and Support Center activities as needed
