Re: How To Make Independent Schools Happier Places :-)

Fred, if your solution is to make sure we're all paid at least 75,000
a year let me be the first to endorse this plan towards a happier
Independent School.

Kidding aside, I know that I, as well as many of my colleagues, "are
willing to make lifestyle changes because the intrinsic rewards of
following a passion or making a difference are more important than a
high salary in an unenjoyable career." =A0If I was motivated purely by
money I'd either be in public schools or in a more lucrative field
than education.

That said I still like the 75k a year plan better.
