Google Apps Admin Tools Update - Bulk Delete User Page Added

This is just a quick update to let you know that I've added a page to
the Google
Apps Admin Tools <https://webapps.peddie.org/GoogleAppsAdmin> site which
allows you to delete Google Apps users in bulk by simply pasting usernames
into a text box and/or selecting a group of users (e.g. your Class of 2010
group). If you are a Google Apps school and would like access to the site
just send me an email (tphelan@peddie.org) with your Google Apps domain.

*About The Google Apps Admin Tools Page*

URL: https://webapps.peddie.org/GoogleAppsAdmin

We created the Google Apps Admin Tools site to supplement the standard
Google Apps administrator control panel and have opened the site for use by
any Google Apps school or non-profit upon request. The site does not
interfere in any way with the standard administrator control panel. It was
created to add functionality that is not offered in the standard control
panel and to streamline other tasks which are tedious to do when using the
standard control panel. The site currently does the following:

- Allows you to delete users in bulk by pasting usernames in a text box
or selecting an entire group of users to delete.
- Allows you to manage shared users. The primary purpose for this is to
allow you to selectively publish your groups to the domain address book so
type-ahead will work for these groups. The standard administrator console
does not currently contain any way to manage shared contacts.
- Allows you to change a username (e.g. due to marriage). The stock admin
console allows you to change a user's display name, but not the username.
- We still find the group management tools cumbersome, so I built a page
dedicated to managing groups making adding/deleting/modifying users in
groups as easy as pasting email addresses into a test box.
- While the stock tools allow small domains to export a user list as a
CSV, this option does not seem to be available for larger domains, and even
for small domains you can't export group membership information. The site
allows you to export all users. You can also export all group memberships
for each user.

Since all Google Apps domains use the same API, it was possible allow this
site to be used to manage any Google Apps domain; therefore, I decided to
open it up for any school or non-profit use. If you administer a Google Apps
domain for a school or non-profit and would like to use this site, send me
an email (tphelan@peddie.org) requesting that I add your domain to the list
of allowed domains--please do not send me your administrator password. While
we use this site to manage the Peddie domain and I know of no bugs, no
warranty is expressed or implied. Also, please do read the instructions at
the bottom of each page before using the page.
