Agreed...

However, I think the "policing" issue is still nearly impossible, you cannot
stop people, especially parents/customers, from speaking ill of you. Unless
you are willing to pursue litigation with them, if you even could, for
defamation of character, slander, libel (I am NO attorney). Then what is
worse? The comment on facebook or the story in the paper/news about your
actions in response? What recourse do you really have other than simply
entering into dialog with them about taking the comments down? The problem
is as soon as you justify the comments with remark or conversation, then you
have empowered them to use that medium or "stage" whenever they have a bone
to pick.
