greater number of people to have a voice where in public they may not be so
quick to speak up in person, I don't know that you can take action against
speech.
How about using the social media to reach out to this person and figure out
what set them off? Or using social media to reach out to the larger
community and sharing information with them to prevent more people from
having a poor reaction? Or both?
