towards Singapore Math. We are using an American edition of the book, we
have had a 3-day workshop with Dr. Robert Bisk, and we are getting some
additional in-service training from the Pi Project in Palo Alto. We have begun
in K-1, plan to add perhaps 2-3 next year. Lots of teachers are learning
and using the modeling techniques of the program. We have not tossed out
other materials but will continue to enrich with them.
