background. The company asked us to install the SMTP package of IIS on=20
Windows Server 2003. We are not in a domain environment and the software=20
is sending emails as user@computername (queueuser@backbaud3) which is=20
not a full qualified domain name. I looked in the SMPT logs and it=20
rejects the from addresses as =93domain does not exist=94. The company=20
claims this should work. Anyone know how I can configure smtp or dns to=20
allow this malformed from address? I can not change whi the program=20
sends email as.
Thanks,
Adam
