Re: What would you do with a one year sabbatical?

Has anyone looked into Fulbrights? I saw something recently on funding
teacher travel; if I remember I'll post. But, EF Education does tours where
teachers can go for free and I think Discovery Education has started doing
something similar. Not quite a sabbatical, but it would get you to
Australia.
I have a friend, Westley Field, who's the tech director at this school in
Sydney, and he speaks very positively about his head of school and her
vision. They've been a 1 to 1 laptop school for a long time as well. Westley
has also done quite a bit with MLC students in Second Life. If anyone is
serious about visiting, this might be one stop on your tour! Here's the
school web site: http://www.mlcsyd.nsw.edu.au/public/index.cfm
