I would also visit Australia, where there are so many interesting
technology initiatives as well as highly developed media literacy programs
for children and young adults.
Then I would spend the rest of the time studying, thinking, and maybe even
writing about media education and virtual ethics initiatives for parents.
In a nutshell, how we parents can be educated and learn how to apply and
model our good, traditional values in a constantly changing digital world
(perhaps from a personal and public health perspective?). I'd also think
about how to deliver the information efficiently and effectively since
many of the existing web sites and resources grow to be so enormous that
parents seem to shy away from them after a few visits.
Of course, I could do a lot of my musing and thinking while traveling...
Oh to have the time.
