Re: Twitter & Facebook

Question 1 -

Other than a blanket "do no harm to X School" policy, I think it is
ridiculous for schools to instruct teachers/staff to NOT use social media...
They can, especially private schools, but that doesnt make it right or make
it make sense...

Question 2 -

Yep... Students are in school to LEARN part of that is LEARNING that there
are boundaries of conduct that cannot be crossed inside or outside of
school... LEARNING goes beyond books/curriculum its also learning about
LIFE, and sometimes when you do something irresponsible, it doesn't mean
there are not ramifications/consequences beyond the immediate consequence of
the irresponsible behavior (Michael Vick anyone?)
