conference hosted at Science Leadership Academy. My then 15 year old
daughter and I presented two years ago and she begged to attend last year to
the point where she paid for her own travel expenses just to attend. What 16
yr old attends an education conference with her mother? This conference is a
think tank of grassroots teachers who are progressive and on the cutting
edge of thinking of education innovation.
I am also admittedly a bit biased - one of SLA's teachers was on my Teachers
Without Border's teams in two countries in Africa with me this past summer.
NECC (ISTE) is admittedly a great place to network, but if you are
interested in engaging, lively conversation, then Educon is the conference
to check out.
